Starbucks night - Good time

So last night me & Ari went to the invitation I got last week from Starbucks, and we had a GREAT time.

you know what.. I just realized that I needed the fun, good time and laughing, I thought that just doing my usual hobbies such as watching DVD, reading foods and my Friday hair creambath treatment is enough for me to diverse myself from job routine, turns out these kind of fun are important too (I guess that's why companies created "Outings").

Hmmm.... to tell you the truth I was ready to back out from the plan 'coz yesterday I just started having bad flu (running nose & sore throat) but when I saw Ari's blog and reading how she had been looking forward to this event since last week, I don't have the heart to say no, anyway I felt better already last night.

While waiting for other people to join, the inhouse band sings. The event started with a coffee tasting for this coffee from Thailand called "Muang Jai" or something like that and the second coffee is the Sumatra's coffee. Muang Jai has this acidy aroma and bitter after taste as for the Sumatra coffee doesn't have the acidy aroma but more bitter after taste. Oh and they gave us the sample for their promoted product : Hazelnut Mocha Frappuccino

Afterwards they started the puzzle game, they divided us into 2 teams of 4 and 5 people, our team won and the prize is making our own free drink behind the bar and using their aprons. Hey... that's really a good time, how else can we be "our own barista @ Starbucks" of course me & Ari took the opportunity to record the event with lots of pictures taking.
(hahaha... emang susah banci foto ya bow....)

Hey... time flies when you are having fun, it's 8.30 already and I told Ari I wanted to go home at 9, got to take care of my health. But.... I think they know our plan and asked us to play another game again of putting balloons between 2 people on the forehead, we were each teamed with the Starbucks staff I was with mbak Sisca, hihihi.... I guess it was my night, I won again the game and got a Stabucks mug as the prize.

Then they have this Starbucks idol, 3 girls sang and the participant act as the judges as the one who won was the one who got the most claps from us. This is 9.30 already and was shocked to see the watch, but still they won't let us go home yet as they are preparing for final event which is giving the prize (mug) and goodie bag. While handing the prize, one of the staff played guitar and sing... hey he had a good voice.

Finally we went home around 9.45 or something with a smile on my face and cold hands coz I'm still not that well yet. Now my cold is back, but I think it's worth it :D
Thanks Starbucks ... we really had a good time, let's do this again sometime.
